The Bluth Company is hiring a Skilled Carpenter to help construct (and occasionally deconstruct) model homes in the Sudden Valley area. Must be comfortable working with limited supervision, unfinished staircases, and frequent shifts in project scope. Experience in general construction, sarcasm, and working with family businesses is ideal. Responsibilities: * Build and install framing, stairs (when approved), and drywall * Interpret vague or nonexistent blueprints * Repair previously built structures that... didn’t hold up * Work closely with site supervisors and reluctant sons Requirements: * 2+ years carpentry or residential construction experience * Ability to work independently and fix things after Gob breaks them * Own tools a plus (nobody can find the company ones) * Strong sense of humor and emotional resilience required
